Surgery & Dentistry
We know it can be scary when your pets needs to go under anesthesia for an important medical procedure.
Trust Kingdom!
When it comes to your pet’s anesthetic safety, we take every precaution. This includes: pre-surgical physical examination, bloodwork, imaging (when indicated), airway control (intubation), intravenous access and fluids (BP support), the safest anesthetic and pain relief protocols (multi-modal anesthesia), and continuous full patient vital monitoring (ECG, SpO2, EtCO2, Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Respirations, Temp, and more) by a highly trained veterinary technician. Every patient is important to us, and we take pride in being able to confidently explain why your pet is safest with us when they must undergo anesthesia for a dental or surgical procedure.

SURGERY
All dogs and cats can experience the benefits of sterilization surgery - better known as “spay” or “neuter”. Consider GASTROPEXY surgery at the same time as insurance against a deadly condition called Gastric Dilatation Volvulus (GDV) aka “bloat” which can occur in large or deep chested dogs. Please ask for more details!
Aside from routine surgery, Kingdom Animal Hospital’s veterinarians are highly skilled and able to perform MANY soft tissue procedures at a fraction of specialist or emergency hospital fees. Please call if your pet needs surgery involving the eyelids, stomach/intestines (foreign body blockage??), urethra (urinary stones, blockage, or prolapse), and more. We may be able to help!
DENTISTRY
Remember, early and frequent dental care reduces the need for prolonged and invasive anesthetic dental procedures! Ask us about prophylactic dental care (also known as Comprehensive Oral Assessment and Treatment - COHAT) and dental health maintenance for your pet at home.
ADVANCED
For orthopedic (involving bones/plates/pins/screws) or very advanced procedures we may recommend referral to a veterinary surgeon. You can be assured that whatever your pets needs, we will help you understand all the options.
